Samantha Fulton, MPT, RYT-200

My name is Samantha Fulton, previously Fogliano before I married the love of my life in 2007. I am a physical therapist with a Masters degree from Quinnipiac University. I previously practiced as an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist before giving birth to my son, Maddox in September, 2011. I now focus my time on the incredibly under-rated job of mothering, as well as bringing yoga to the Hudson Valley. Health and wellness in general have been influencing my life since I can remember. I have been a student yoga for 8 years, and more recently was blown away by its all-encompassing benefits. I always knew that physical therapy and yoga would make a great couple! I received my 200-hr certification from the Yoga Society of New York at Ananda Ashram.

I am extremely grateful to all of my teachers, both of yoga and physical therapy, who have given me the tools in my belt, and the love in my heart, to help others heal themselves. A special thank you to Yogananda David Michael Hollander, Nikki Lewitan, and Shri Radha Ma at Ananda Ashram for sharing all of their knowledge, compassion, and love.

I have a passion for the human body, and an appreciation for it's capacity to heal itself with the right facilitation. People and their energy are what inspires me. I truly believe that yoga is appropriate and necessary for all body types, personalities, shapes, sizes, lifestyles, etc. Yoga has changed my life in ways I never imagined, and I cannot wait to spread this gift that keeps on giving. I am incredibly thrilled to have the privilege to work and play with you all! Om, Namaste!
